iPhone Duo Cases Without Adhesive (No Sticky Strips)

Last updated . We have not tested these cases ourselves. Findings come from the reviewers linked on each point.

Many iPhone Duo cases hold their front piece on with adhesive strips, because the frame around the outer display is too thin to grip by itself. If you want to swap cases or take yours off to clean the phone, an adhesive-free design is easier to live with. These are the ones we could confirm from a hands-on review or the maker's own page.

Partly adhesive

The TORRAS Q3 Spin Case with 360° Magnetic Stand has a back shell that needs no glue, but its front frame sticks on; spare strips are in the box. case-tester.com suggests using the back shell alone with a screen protector, which makes it adhesive-free in practice (case-tester.com). The PITAKA Aramid Fiber Case (Caseless Feeling) ships with adhesive strips and spares, but case-tester.com's unit sat firmly without using them (case-tester.com). Check price on Amazon

"Not established" means none of our sources said how that case attaches. We'd rather leave it blank than guess. Other adhesive cases we confirmed: Apple's iPhone Duo Case (Apple) and Thinborne's aramid case (Thinborne).

Is adhesive actually a problem?

Not always. PetaPixel's editor found the adhesive on Apple's case tacky rather than aggressive, and the small amount of residue wiped off easily (PetaPixel). The real cost is reuse: case-tester.com warns that a glued-on front piece often won't hold well after it has been removed once, which is why spare strips matter (case-tester.com).
